6 Ways to Tenderize Meat for Cooking

I love cooking meats. They contain so much flavor and are so versatile that the possibilities are endless. However, there is one thing that has to happen before a tough piece of meat can be cooked properly and that is tenderization!

I remember when I first got married and someone purchased us a kitchen utility set I looked at this kitchen mallet like it was a torture device from the middle ages. I had NO IDEA what to do with it. Then again, I had no idea what I was doing in the kitchen either, thankfully that was ages ago!

So sit back and relax and let's take a look at how we can tenderize meats to get that perfect meal we were hoping for.

A good piece of meat needs no tenderizers. They ruin the texture of the meat& give me a belly ache
