We hate breaking bad news but we figured that this is very important to share ASAP. Sadly, due a few bad decisions made by the CEO of Nutella and the people who operate the company, Nutella is going
to go out of business by the end of the year.

Our hearts are breaking and we can't believe that this is actually true but it makes sense after shopping yesterday and seeing local grocery stores not have it in stock all of a sudden. People everywhere are outraged, especially since this was a highly popular spread that almost everyone always had in their cabinets.
However, it isn't so much an issue that Nutella is going out of business it is the reason why and what they are going to do with the company that has everyone upset and once you find out, we're sure that you'll be livid.

Fount this: In the United States, Ferrero, maker of Nutella, was sued in a class action lawsuit for false advertising that led some to believe that Nutella carries nutritional and health benefits, being touted as ‘part of a nutritious breakfast’. They were sued for healthwashing! In April 2012, they paid $3 million to customers who were part of the claim. The settlement also required Ferrero to make changes to Nutella’s labelling and marketing.
