Copycat Recipe: P.F. Chang’s Banana Spring Rolls

This Dessert is Our Newest Guilty Pleasure!

We're longtime fans of Asian food around here, but we have to admit, our favorite part of the meal often isn't the main course but instead those savory, crispy and delectable spring rolls. Yum! These bite-sized snacks are an ancient Chinese tradition, but Chinese food chain P.F. Chang's has its own unique spin on this classic treat: turning it into an indulgent dessert! If you've never tried the chain's banana spring rolls, boy are you missing out! You may think the restaurant is the only place you can get this sweet treat, but we have a copycat recipe that's every bit as good as the original.

These banana spring rolls have a crispy filling just like the vegetable-filled spring rolls, but this dessert version is filled with bananas and fruit, and then fried until it's savory and crunchy. As if it couldn't get any more tantalizing, you then drizzle caramel sauce on top and serve it with ice cream. This is a must for anyone who has a sweet tooth!
