In my reading this past week, I stumbled across this recipe that I simply had to try. I am such a fan of seafood that I love to try any new recipe I can get my hands on. One of the things that I adore about a plate of mussels is that it can be light enough for an appetizer, served over a bed of pasta or on its own with a freshly made baguette.
For this recipe, a 31/2 quart sauté pan was used and all of the ingredients came together within minutes making this one of my favorite low mess, low-effort meals. I personally prefer to purchase the mussels the day I am going to prepare them although others have purchased the frozen and advised that they worked out perfectly but again, I recommend using fresh simply because the taste is phenomenal.
