Maple Pecan Sticky Buns…With A Twist!

When it comes to breakfast I use the motto the simpler the better. There is nothing better than waking up to fresh coffee and breakfast ready to go. I like to make this next recipe the night before especially on holidays so its ready to go first thing however if you have a bit more time in the morning then I would, of course, recommend making it fresh first thing…there is also something to be said for fresh out of the oven.

Making a dough from scratch is always preferred, but as you will see later in this article, on those mornings where you just don't have the energy to get too involved in the baking process we suggest a nice premade dough. Here is what you will need.

Ingredients: 

  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup pecans
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (10)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
