Plain Old Chocolate Chip Cookies Just Can't Compare…
We thought we'd pretty much seen it all. We consider ourselves dessert aficionados and cookie connoisseurs after all, and we pride ourselves on knowing how to make pretty much any dessert imaginable — the more decadent the better! However, we recently came across a recipe that really blew us away, and it's a tantalizing twist on two of our favorite foods.
The chocolate chip Cookiedilla starts with good old-fashioned chocolate chip cookies (the bigger the better!) but combines them with marshmallows and chocolate chips for an indulgent, melty concoction that's fashioned similar to a quesadilla, that Tex-Mex favorite that pairs savory tortillas with rich, gooey and melty cheese.
In this version, however, the cookies play the role of the tortilla, and the marshmallows and chocolate chips make up the tantalizing and gooey filling. This is the kind of the thing to make when dessert has to be spectacular!
