The key to any memorable party is food. Most hosts, including myself, spend so much time obsessing over my main course I pay little attention to the appetizers. Typically I then fall victim to the processed food aisle, stocking up on frozen finger foods and pre-packaged dips.
What a disappointment!
Appetizers play a very important part of the meal. Its primary functions are to get your guests to mingle and to get their stomachs primed. The perfect opportunity to make sure they leave with stuffed stomach and happy heart!
On that note, I am always stressed that I will not have enough of my main dish, every hosts worst nightmare. So lets take a step in preventing such a tragedy from ever happening at your next party! Fill them up BEFORE the main dish even hits the table. Don't worry, they will still make room to enjoy your savory main event of the night, but they will also get a chance to enjoy the luscious spread of appetizers before them!
