Hollow Easter Houdini Rolls

Hollow Easter Houdini Rolls

This is a super great idea! When can you ever make something that has a meaning? These rolls not only are popular and delicious but they also have a back story….

This recipe brings us back to the meaning of Easter Sunday, which is the day many believe when Jesus rose from the dead and left the tomb empty.

Like the tomb these rolls also mysteriously form a hollow center! These Houdini rolls can do this because of a marshmallow that is placed inside the dough – it puffs up and then dissolves into thin air.

With only a few ingredients and some kids, to watch the mystery, you can make these rolls in a snap! Go to the next page to see how you can make these in just a few easy steps…

It appears the cinnamon is on the inside not the outside as described. Do you roll the marshmallow in the cinnamon? Saw no cinnamon, sugar on the outside.
