These incredible sloppy joes make enough for eight servings but if you want more for a party you can always double the ingredients. You can leave the Tabasco sauce out if you want your sandwiches to be more mild. right in!

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2-1/2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 1/2  Onion
  • 1  Green Bell Pepper
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1-1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste (optional)
  • Tabasco Sauce (optional)
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper,
  • Rolls
  • Butter

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Add butter to  skillet or dutch oven over medium high heat. Add ground beef, cook until brown. Drain.
  2. Add onions, green pepper, garlic. Cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add ketchup, brown sugar, chili pepper, dry mustard,  water. Stir to combine,  simmer for 15 minutes, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Also add tomato paste, Worcestershire,  Tabasco if desired.
  5. Spread rolls with butter,  brown on a griddle or skillet. Spoon meat mixture over  rolls.
