The No Bake Chocolate Oat Cookies We Craved As Children Are Making A Comeback

It's the simplest recipe that brings back the warmest memories!

As kids, one of my favorite after-school treats was coming home to find a sheet of rich and creamy no-bake cookies waiting for us. After a long hard day at school, those yummy cookies were a welcome reward! We haven't had them much since we became adults, but we recently rediscovered the joys of these seemingly simple cookies. In fact, they're loaded with flavor and a little indulgent. Plus, we like that you don't have to heat up the oven!

Just combine the ingredients and bring to a boil, and then add the oatmeal and other goodies, and place onto a baking sheet to let harden. Within half an hour, you have a whole batch of sweet and creamy cookies (with a hint of savory flavor thanks to the peanut butter!) ready and waiting for you. Plus, these cookies will up to three days in the refrigerator in an airtight container, so you can make a batch and have a sweet snack when you have a sugar craving.
