These Blondies are Twice The Fun

So while my blondies are amazing apparently they have now been dethroned as the bestest. That title now belongs to these amazing funfetti blondies which have stolen the heart of the world's pickiest eater.

Here is what dethroned me:

Ingredients

 

  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted and cooled
  • ½ cup packed dark brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Prepare an 8×8 baking pan with baking spray. Set aside.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar. Mix in the egg, vanilla, salt, all-purpose flour, and baking powder. Mix until just well-combined. Stir in the sprinkles and spread into the baking pan.
  3. Bake about 25-30 minutes, until set in the middle and lightly golden brown. Cool on a rack until completely cooled before cutting into pieces.

I can honestly say that these are delicious and let's face it they are way more fun to eat than regular blondies. The pop of color just adds something to it that makes us feel like a kid again.
