We Can't Get Enough of These Juicy Berry Shortcakes
One of our favorite desserts is strawberry shortcake, which is pretty quick and easy to make, but still, we don't always have the time or energy for it. Fortunately, we recently discovered an even quicker and easier version that tastes every bit as delicious and decadent as the original. You don't need any special tools such as a rolling pin or cutters for the cake, plus, they have nice crispy edges and are sturdy enough to stand up to all the berry juice that could potentially make them soggy.
These shortcakes are so good you may just want to eat them plain, but we definitely recommend waiting until they're done so you can get the full benefit of how amazing they taste with the berries and whipped cream. Yum! These are perfect for a nice sumptuous dessert, especially after an especially rich and hearty meal, but we have to say, we've also had them for breakfast. What a great way to start the day!
