They Looks As Good As They Taste: These Snickerdoodle Muffins Are The Perfect Morning Pick-Me-Up

I get tired of the same things for dessert, then I found these and fell in love! The kids are in heaven with each bit and the warm aroma in the house is very heartwarming.

Let's Get Baking…

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter

  •     1 cup sugar

  •     2 tsp vanilla

  •     2 eggs

  •     3/4 tsp baking soda

  •     3/4 tsp baking powder

  •     3/4 tsp cream of tartar

  •     3/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg

  •     1 1/4 cup sour cream

  •     2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

  •     1/2 cup sugar and 1 TBSP cinnamon mixed together for rolling

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Cream the sugar and butter til they are soft, approx 3-5 min, then add in the vanilla. Next add the eggs in one at a time and mix one until they are mixed thoroughly.
  2. Now in a separate bowl, blend the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cream of tarter
  3. Next add flour mix and the sour cream into the egg/butter mix, making sure you do this alternately. Start with the flour and stop with the flour as you scrape the bowl occasionally.
  4. And now, using an ice cream scoop, dip out muffin batter one at a time and put into a shallow bowl fill with the cinnamon sugar mix. Coat the muffin around in mix til it is covered in the mix. Put the muffins in a muffin tin. You should get approx 12 to 14 muffins. Bake for about 20 to 22 minutes in the oven preheated to 350 degrees. Or until they are golden brown.

Finished!

Not only are they great tasting but they don't take that long to make, you better believe the whole family will love them.

Happy Cooking & Enjoy Ya'll!

There are a lot of other recipe things that you can subscribe to one of them is welcome home… Another one is how to write on there but because I use my iPhone to read everything to me I just really picking choose the recipes and then try to make videos on how to use your iPhone to help you navigate through Facebook and other things… If you are curious about my videos you don’t have to subscribe but if you’d like to look me up or subscribe to my videos and it’s called… Doing it blind… But if you can’t find me just by putting that in you can put in Poor man’s garlic bread! You should be able to find my video of course it was like one of the more second video ever made which cut off my head supposedly and of course doing a blind means I was doing a blind with my phone! If you’d like you can friend me and I usually post a lot of recipes myself or I tried to help me find some pretty decent! But I don’t know if your iPhone with voice over!
