This Rich and Creamy Shake Is Downright Decadent!
The last time we were in Seattle, we made sure to check out beloved eatery Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery, which is known for its tiny little chocolate cakes that have big, big flavor! However, while crowds fill the establishment in eager anticipation of those sinfully good little cakes, Hot Cakes has even more to offer. We were pleasantly surprised to discover another one of their unique creations, namely their amazing milkshakes.
Our favorite is the boozy caramel milkshake, which combines rye whiskey and espresso to make the shake, which is topped off with a luscious salted caramel sauce, and of course plenty of whipped cream! What we really like is that the caramel is made the old-fashioned way using dry-burning, which gives it a rich, smoky flavor. Wow!
