This Chili Will Make You Feel All Warm and Cozy!
Whether you're looking for something to warm you up on a chilly winter day, or you just want some good old-fashioned comfort food to treat yourself after a trying day, you can't go wrong with chili! This white chicken chili in particular may be the ultimate comfort food, because it's rich, thick and creamy, as well as oh so satisfying! The chicken and beans are enhanced with several seasonings, including cumin, garlic powder, chopped green chiles, garlic, oregano, pepper and cayenne pepper. Wow! Then to top it all off, there's sour cream and whipping cream, as well as fresh toppings that include cilantro, shredded cheese, tortilla chips and anything else you choose.
One thing we really like about this recipe is that it can be made either on the stovetop or the slow cooker, so you can adapt it to your needs. We can't imagine living without our slow cooker, and we love the thought of putting this chili on in the morning and having it waiting for us when we get home from work. Delicious!
