I don't know many people who like clowns. While they are intended to be a source of joy for children's parties and at the Circus they seem to do more scaring than cheering up.
Since the announcement that Stephen King was working on an updated version of his blockbuster hit movie “IT,” there's been a resurgence of people wearing these creepy clown costumes. Some pranked others by hiding in the woods and walking int the streets. Sure it worked on some but on others, they did not account for the other half of the “fight or flight” instinct so they found themselves on the wrong end of a beating.
