This Quiches Crust Makes All The Difference

This Quiches Crust Makes All The Difference

Quiches are the best example of a breakfast food that is simple enough for beginners yet elegant enough for the advanced chef. One of the most versatile brunch foods around this breakfast creation is one of our favorite. While some recipes go with the more traditional crust, as you will see later in this article, this particular recipe adds a little something extra to the mix.

You can use any vegetables and meats that you like but we included some of our favorites and of course…there has to be bacon! Here is what you will need in order to make this amazing breakfast creation.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt, divided
  • ½ teaspoon pepper, divided
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan
  • 5 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup green onion, sliced
  • ½ cup bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

For the bacon, I would suggest a nice maple applewood. It gives it a sweet flavor among all the savory and this time of year having the taste of apple simply makes everything better. Now on to the rest of the ingredients and directions.
