I am always up for new challenges. New recipes and new ways of doing things. I firmly believe that we can learn a lot from looking at the past and that includes what we create in the kitchen. There are many vintage recipes that I adore, Many of which were passed down by my grandmothers. I remember they had small recipe boxes full of index cards with all sorts of strange recipes contained in there.
I remember reading some of them and wondering who in the world would eat such food. I wondered how they could even call the combination of ingredients food. Not only did it sound unappetizing but the thought of having to eat it almost made me gag.
