I am inclined to believe this is the stuff dreams are made of!
It is no secret that I am a fan of breakfast foods but this dish simply steals the show with its warm, syrupy, bacony goodness! I told my children that the next time I make it I am making them a batch and then a separate batch all for myself. Sure it may put me into a carb induced slumber the likes only witnessed on a Thanksgiving afternoon but it will be well worth it.
Now with this recipe, you can make it a couple of different ways. You can choose fresh or frozen waffles. I say it all depends on what time of time you are working with. If it's a lazy Saturday morning then, by all means, take the extra minute or two and make the waffles fresh. If you're looking at a busy morning trying to get the kids off to school them frozen is the way to go!
