Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole

Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole

Casseroles are great for the morning for breakfast or for dinner time because they are filling, flavorful and pack a lot of nutritional value.

The Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole uses both breakfast and dinner items and all of the ingredients come together quite nicely.

This dish you can tailor to your liking and be a little creative with the filling, cheeses, and dough. Whatever way you want to adapt it; your family and friends are going to love it.

If you have leftovers from the night before change them into a casserole fit for any household.

Who would have known the clever play on Crescent Rolls would be so valuable player when making this?! I love the crunch and rich flavor that this dish brings to the table.

The Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole almost tastes like chicken and dumplings but you have some nutty rich flavors that are added in and the vegetables make it delightful.

    Step By Step Instructions:

    1. Lightly spray a 11×7-inch dish.

    2. Mix together the chicken, cream cheese, minced onion, garlic powder and mozzarella. Set aside.

    3. In another bowl, mix the soup with the milk, stirring the milk in gradually.

    4. Separate the crescent dough into the 8 triangles. Place about 1/4 cup of the chicken mixture on the wide base of the crescent “triangle.” Roll up and seal completely–you roll these like you are making rolls, but also pinch the sides together so the filling is completely enclosed by the crescent dough.

    5. Place chicken-filled crescents in the pan making 2 rows with 4 crescents in each row–leave space on all sides for the sauce.

    6. Pour sauce around the crescents, avoiding covering the dough with the sauce.

    7. Sprinkle crescent tops with the grated cheese.

    8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until tops are nicely browned.
