By removing the bone before you do anything to it, it makes the salmon more eater-friendly. After you remove it, you can go through with seasoning and cooking it.
This Is What You Need To Do….
You’ll Need:
-
Raw fish fillet(s)
-
Needle-nose pliers, jewelry pliers, surgical clamp, or special fish tweezers.
-
Your fingertips
Step By Step Directions To Follow
-
Lay the fillet flat on a plate, cutting board, or pan.
-
Run your fingers along the length of the fillet, feeling for the tips of the bones.
-
When you find one, notice how it’s just one in a line of tiny tips protruding from the flesh
-
Use your pliers to grasp the tip of the bone and pull it out at an angle. Continue on all the remaining ones.
Finished!
You can do it every time you make salmon and you and your guests will be so appreciative. They may not notice if you do it every time, but they will when they get salmon and the bone isn't removed. It's just not a pleasant experience.
Enjoy!
