By now, who hasn't heard of P.F. Chang's? The popular Chinese restaurant chain has locations all across the United States and even in several other countries! However, it started as a passion project founded by Philip Chiang, son of one of the most famous and esteemed Chinese restaurateurs, Cecilia Chang, along with Paul Fleming, a veteran of the restaurant industry.
What's really surprising is that the restaurant almost never existed, because it's founder originally wanted to be an artist but helped out at his mother's restaurant when he had trouble finding a job in the art field. While we're disappointed his intended career path didn't work out, we're also one of his restaurant chain's biggest fans!
