6-Ingredient Biscuits & Gravy: Plated Comfort

Here's everything you need for these indulgent biscuits and gravy. You don't need a whole lot of bacon drippings; just enough to cover the bottom of the skillet.

Let's Get Started… 

Ingredients To Gather:

  • Reserve some bacon drippings (I use Wright's Pepper Bacon)
  • 6 tablespoons Flour
  • 3 cups Sweet Milk
  • 8 oz Sausage (I use Jimmy Dean)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions To Follow:

  1. Start by sprinkling flour into the skillet over the hot bacon drippings and then stir to mix well.
  2. Add the salt, pepper and milk, stirring continuously until it thickens and then remove from the heat and set aside.
  3. Next, take another skillet and fry the sausage until it's brown.
  4. When it's done, drain it on a paper towel.
  5. Add the sausage to the gravy, warm and pour over biscuits.

Finished!

That certainly sounds like one hearty breakfast, but it's so good we like to have it as a snack as well. In fact, this decadent creation is good any time of the day.
