Don't Open Another Can Until You Read This List Of Recalled Black Beans!
It seems as if every other week or so there's yet another food recall. This is scary enough, but even more frightening is how the frequency of food recalls have increased in recent years. Are there more contamination problems than in the past, or are they just being reported more now?
Another troubling issue is how many different types of foods are being recalled. We're accustomed to meat recalls; after all, everyone knows that meat and poultry can contain bacteria and be highly dangerous if not cooked properly. But black beans? How could they be dangerous?
Well, it turns out absolutely anything can be potentially deadly, whether it's due to inappropriate handling or something going wrong during processing and packaging, which may be the case with several brands of canned black beans recently recalled.
The manufacturer has voluntarily recalled the products after a consumer discovered an ink pen in one can, and the FDA warns that there could be plastic or metal reside in other cans from the facility in Fairbault, Minnesota.

GRASS HOPPERS AND LEGS ….ROCKS AND STICKS….IN MY PINTO BEANS….PICK THAT STUFF OUT ..WASH THEM OFF IN SALT WATER…RINSE THEM AND COOK THEM…WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?….AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS.

This is the worst recall posting ever. You have to hunt all over to find out the brand and issue!

I’ve never had an issue with blackens and I always have some on hand for my Spanish dishes and other meals calling for them
This is why I don’t buy any canned beans at all. I buy dry and cook my own!
