The article on how to Slice Peaches is really useful and a good thing to have on hand for all of your cobbler recipes. (Make sure that you read that). Don't be afraid to sprinkle extra sugar and cinnamon on top of the crust before you pop this cobbler in the oven!
Here Is What You Need To Do…
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Toss peaches with sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch in a baking dish.
- Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Blend in butter with your fingertips or a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Remove peaches from oven and drop spoonfuls of topping over them.
- Bake 25 minutes.
Finished!
To make this one hundred percent delightful, don't forget the vanilla ice cream on the side! That just makes this cobbler out of this world.
~*~ Helpful Hint ~*~
If you are not a fan of peaches you can also use Blueberries or Apples.

It is good if you can figure it out or have the time to keep going to the next page so hopefully read the adds on that page. I have go past the first, NEXT PAGE. i mever even look at the adds but it is wasting my time.

I am not going from page to page to page keep your recipes
why do people post with no recipe. not worth looking at. can get another recipe in a few seconds.
If you are going to share a recipe make sure you complete it!!! Not everyone reading it has enough experience to figure out what you left out! if you say complete instructions!!!that’s what you should list!!!!! Also like others have said we should not have to chase it through a bunch of Pages of ads!

Instructions aren’t really clear. Do you bake the peaches some before adding the crust/topping? If so, how long?

Make sure that you are not using frozen peaches. That really takes out the flavor of this classic recipe. We highly recommend using just the fresh, organic ones.
Now, before you take that pairing knife to those soft, gold, beautiful peaches (and butcher them) there is something that you need to know about this recipe…
The Peaches Have To Be Cut A Certain Way Because Of The Type Of Crust We Are Using.
If you slice your peaches into squares and not slices then it will make this recipe too gooey and the crust will not bake properly.

I too, like several others do not like searching several places, through numerous ads to find part of a recipe, then doing it all over again to find the other half of a recipe.

And those with crumbled stuff on top would be “crumbles”. Not my preference. Cobblers or pies are the best.
