My mom made the best peach cobbler in the world ! We didn’t like a spooned on , biscuit crust, so mom made her butter and lard pie crust and put a crust on the bottom and one on the top. She made her filling a little juicy because of the double crust. And, never any spices in the filling….just good ripe peach flavor. I make mine the same way and everyone loves my pies and cobblers. 🙂

As far as I am concerned, your recipe is the only way to make a cobbler. Those with a crumb top are not cobblers, they are crumbles. I know I would love your recipe.
