The billboard read: “The best Mexican food this side of the wall.”
La Casa de Amistad, a South Bend-based community center, was one of those groups that believed the billboard was insensitive. They also stated that this was not the first time that the restaurant has created an offensive ad. La Casa has received requests to confront the restaurant chain for its marketing.
A lot of people think La Casa de Amistad has gone too far with this statement. I'm curious to hear what others think about this.
