All Meatballs Are GOOD But These Are Extra Special & Delicious – You’ll SEE WHY

So how do we make these delicious sliders? Well, you have to start from scratch by making your own patties! We will teach you step by step how to make the ultimate Italian-American sliders:

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ pounds ground beef
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • slider buns

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a skillet and heat.
  2. Toss in onion and cook until caramelized.
  3. Add in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the onion and garlic mixture to a large bowl along with ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheese, egg and parsley. Mix until combined. Roll into meatballs.
  5. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet. Once the pan is hot add the meatballs. (about 1-2 minutes on each side).
  6. Leave the meatballs in the pan and pour tomato sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.

This recipe serves 4.

To add more pizzazz into your sliders, you can put basil or any type of cheese (preferably melted) to finish your dish. Or you can go creative and think outside of the box by customizing your own sliders with other ingredients.
