This recipe makes enough to serve about four people but you can always double the ingredients if you want to make more. You can make this recipe in advance if you need to because the chicken needs to marinate for at least 30 minutes. This makes it the perfect meal for when you are having a busy week.

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons rosemary
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Extra olive oil to brush grill

 The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

1. Whisk together honey, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary, garlic, salt, and pepper.

2. Place the chicken breasts in a Ziploc bag. Pour honey-lemon-rosemary mixture into the bag, mix until chicken breasts are well-coated. Place the bag in refrigerator, let marinate for at least 30 minutes up to overnight.

3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and brush grill with olive oil.

4. Remove the chicken breasts from the bag, place on grill. Discard the marinade.

5. Grill chicken until cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from grill and serve warm.
