Be Sure To Make Extra Of These Praline Bacon Strips… We Devoured All Of Ours In Minutes!

This recipe makes about two to four servings but you will probably want to double or even triple the ingredients because you just won't be able to get enough.  It is important to chop up the pecans until they have the consistency of crumbs to make coating the bacon easier.

So, Let's Get Started…

Ingredients You Need To Gather:

  • 6 oz center-cut bacon (half of a 12 oz package, center cut bacon for less fat)
  • 1/4 cup toasted pecans
  • 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar

Step by Step Directions To Follow To Make This Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and set a wire rack above a sheet pan.

  2. Pulse the pecans until they are chopped up into tiny pieces, like crumbs, but don’t pulse them so far that they turn into nut butter. Add the brown sugar and pulse a couple times to combine.

  3. Press each bacon slice into the brown sugar pecan crumb, making sure to get both sides and shaking off the excess topping. Then place the prepped bacon slices on the wire rack.

  4. Bake for about 30 minutes until the brown sugar has caramelized. Let the bacon cool slightly, but you should enjoy while hot and fresh out of the oven.

Finished!

This praline bacon has the saltiness of bacon that you love while adding a sweet and nutty flavor that just makes bacon that much better. If you have made this praline bacon before, did you do anything differently? What did you think of the flavor combinations? Was it a big hit with your family as well?
