Breakfast Will Never Be The Same After This Hash Brown Casserole

Breakfast Will Never Be The Same After This Hash Brown Casserole

This breakfast is so easy to make you'll wonder why you haven't made it sooner. In fact, you could even make this during the week, it's that easy! See what we meet by checking out the list of ingredients and step by step instructions.

Things You Will Need:

  • 1 pound hot ground pork sausage
  • 1 (30-ounce) package frozen hash browns
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs2 cups milk
 How To Prepare:
  1. Start your morning off by cooking the sausages first. Grab a large skillet and heat up over medium-high heat. Cook sausage until you have nice crumbles that are no longer pink. Don't forget to drain the sausage well.
  2. Next, prepare the hash browns to your desired preference. Most hash browns have directions on the package, you can use those as a guide too. Don't forget to season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix your sausage that you cooked in step one with the hash browns and cheese. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Scramble eggs with milk and salt and pour over the hash brown mix in your greased baking dish. Place in the oven and cook for about 40 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  5. Enjoy!
 Helpful Hint:
Note: My family loves this breakfast, especially with fresh toppings to add to the mix. Top with sour cream, green onions, avocado and hot sauce.
