Common sense, something she doesn’t have to go with that education she claims to have.

This is my recipe and it works every time. Chuck Roast, can of stewed tomatoes (chopped smaller), can of cream of mushroom soup, and packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix. Mix soups and tomatoes together and pour over chuck roast in slow cooker. Cook until very tender – I usually do it all day on low. Tastes so good and easy to make.

Pot roast can be any cut of roast you desire. Personally, I prefer shoulder. It’s leaner, and a lot more tender than say, bottom or top round. Also, yes, canned soup combined with water and dry onion soup mix are excellent choices for a crock pot. Also, crock pots are excellent for busy people who have kids, work outside the home, or all of the above. This recipe is also very good when made with cube steaks, both pork and beef. If you don’t like the way a recipe sounds, skip over it, rather than being such a$#%&!@*

If it’s cooked at home, it’s home-cooked. Crock pots are for busy people who have kids and work outside the home, or are otherwise incredibly busy. Don’t like the idea? Scroll past without being a$#%&!@*

That is my roast recipe, except I put it in a dutch oven in my oven at 350 and don’t even open the door to check it for at least 2 1/2 hrs. I use a chuck roast

I have made this recipe for many many years. I do not add the dry onion soup and water. I use Campbell’s French onion soup. If it is a large roast I use two cans of each soup. If it’s a small roast I use one can of each soup.to me it is better.
