Bring Back Those Nostalgic Family Dinners With This Delicious Pot Roast Recipe!

Give your family a delicious meal with this scrumptious, hearty recipe!

Here's what you'll need.

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 8 medium carrots, cut into thirds
  • 2 medium onions, each cut into 8 wedges
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 1 beef chuck roast (3 pounds), trimmed of excess fat
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

To start, in a slow cooker, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cool water.

Next add your carrots and onions then season with salt and pepper.

Season your roast with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper then set it on top of vegetables, and add the Worcestershire sauce.

Cover your slow cooker and cook on high for six and a half hours.

Transfer the roast to a cutting board and cut thin pieces, slicing against the grain.

Now your roast is ready to serve! I Like to ladel the juices over the veggies because I think that is the best part. whatever way you plate this you will impress.

Enjoy!
