Chick-fil-A Is Trying To Attract New Customers & Offering Something That No Other Fast-Food Restaurant Has

As website Grub Street reports, Chick-fil-A has been trying to market itself as a more inclusive fast food chain. The new gluten-free bun option appears to be part of this effort, although inclusiveness comes with a price:

Chick-fil-A hasn’t disclosed what went into its bun yet, but the option costs an extra $1.15 and comes individually wrapped, meaning customers have to assemble the sandwich themselves. Obviously the ingredients still get prepared in kitchens that aren’t gluten-free, so it’s maybe not the same peace of mind Pizza Hut offers with its gluten-free prep areas.

We're excited to see another restaurant chain making an effort to expand its menu options so it's easier for more people to eat there. With so many people having special dietary needs and preferences, many other chains may soon follow.
