Craving Some Mexican Food? These Authentic Tacos Al Pastor Have A Special Twist We Know You’ll Like!

This pork taco recipe makes enough for about six servings but if you want enough for left overs you can double or even triple the ingredients. You can garnish your tacos with  cilantro, onions, and limes for some extra flavor. These are ready in three hours because the pork has to have time to soak up all that amazing marinade.

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 5 Goya Guajillo Chiles
  • 5 Goya Pasilla Chiles
  • 1 chipotle pepper in Adobo Sauce
  • 1 onion
  • 1 can Pineapple Chunks
  • 1/4 cup White Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • Goya Adobo with Pepper
  • 1 pork butt
  • 1 package Goya Corn Tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro
  • 1 lime

The Step By Step Directions To Follow: 

  1. Bring water to boil. Add guajillo and pasilla chiles. Reduce heat,simmer until chiles soften, 10 minutes. Remove, discard stem and seeds. Chop onion half; reserve remaining half. Strain pineapples; reserve juice and fruit separately.
  2. Transfer guajillo, pasilla, chipotle chiles, onion half, pineapple juice, vinegar, garlic, cumin to bowl. Puree until smooth, 2 minutes.
  3. Bring chile mixture to boil; cook until paste loses raw onion taste, 2 minutes. Season with Adobo; cool. Combine pork, chile marinade and pineapple chunks; transfer to refrigerator.
  4. Marinate at least 2 hours, up to 24 hours.
  5. Heat oil. Strain pork, pineapples, discarding marinade. Add pork,pineapples to skillet. Cook in batches until dark brown on all sides, 15 minutes.
