Dive In Guilt Free: You’ll Never Guess What Is Inside These Sausage & Cheddar Biscuits… Yum!

Here are the list of ingredients and steps that you’ll need to obtain in order to create a fascinating breakfast item!

I grew up in the South so having a Sausage and Cheddar Biscuit was the morning staple in our family. What we used to do was dip them in syrup and have them with a side of fresh organic, free-range eggs.

These little biscuits, or muffins as my mom would call them, are incredibly tasty. One of my mom's little recipe secrets was to substitute the vegetable oil with the grease from the bacon.

That way you are not wasting anything and saving on cooking supplies.

For the cooking times you can either bake them for 12 minutes or ten. The longer you cook them the harder they are going to get – If you plan to put a slice of ham and lettuce in the middle and make it a sandwich then bake them longer. However, I like them soft so that I can rip them apart.

These biscuits are truly a treat and great to enjoy any time of day!

Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 lb package sausage

  • 16 oz package shredded cheddar cheese

  • 3
cups Bisquick

  • 1 -2
cup milk

  • 2
cloves garlic (Optional)

Directions To Follow:

  1. Before you start cooking, make sure to turn on your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Then prepare the sausages by turning them every minute or two for 12 minutes.
  3. Make the batter by combining Bisquick and milk together
  4. Put in the rest of the ingredients: Sausages, shredded Cheddar Cheese, and the optional garlic
  5. Mold the mixture into dough
  6. Shape the dough into balls (spoon-sized) and plop them onto the prepared baking sheets
  7. Place the readied baking sheet into the oven for 15 minutes

A side note on kneading the dough: do not be worried about overworking the dough because it already contains heavy ingredients that it won’t matter.

Sounds simple enough? Efficient and delicious, this breakfast dessert cannot disappoint you! Give it a go and make your family smile every morning!
