If you are feeling pressure to make a big meal and are not sure you can fit making cranberry sauce into the schedule, you will be happy to know that – with this recipe – it can be made three (3) days ahead of the holiday. Just chill and cover. Take a look:
Ingredients To Gather:
•1 cup water
•1 cup sugar
•12-oz bag fresh or frozen cranberries (3 cups)
•1/2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
Pretty easy, huh?
Just bring the cup of water and sugar to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Then you will add the cranberries and simmer, stirring intermittently, until berries just pop!
That will take about ten to twelve minutes. Stir in orange zest. And let it cool! There you have it – cranberry sauce!
