For many people who like soft drinks such as Coca-Cola, they know that the sweet, carbonated beverage can be a little addictive. In fact, much like having that first cup of coffee in the morning, some people need a can of ice-cold Coca-Cola to get their day started! We recently came across a story from Signes, France that gives an entirely new meaning to these jokes. In fact, it seems that some creative drug smugglers were using shipments of Coca-Cola to hide massive amounts of cocaine — $55 million worth, no less!
But as always, these guys got caught. How they did it though was kinda genius and we are kinda scratching our heads how that much cocaine got on to the crates in the first place. Did Coke have something to do with this or do we just have some cunning smugglers on our hands?
