Being a server in a restaurant can be hard because sometimes the customers aren't always nice. You do your best and try hard but sometimes it is just not good enough for certain customers and you end up with stories to tell.
What Happened With This Customer Is:
The owners of Thailicious say a drunk customer left a tip of $1,088 Monday evening, reports The Denver Post.
The customer returned the next morning, told them he had made a mistake while inebriated and asked for his money back.Bee Anantatho, who opened the restaurant with her husband five years ago says the server who first received the tip brought it right to her after he had cleared the table.
Usually, the servers pool cash tips at the end of the night but Anantatho, after “relying on her instincts as a business owner,” told her staff not to spend the money.
The patron thought he had put a bunch of $1 bills. Anantatho returned the customer’s money but says he left $1000, the dinner was $60, the rest was for a tip.
