Even if you're a diehard foodie, no doubt there's several foods that you just don't know how to pronounce. This probably applies even to very common foods or foods that are some of your favorites. It's no surprise, though, that food names are sometimes confusing and difficult to pronounce. After all, many foods come from other countries and cultures and have foreign names that seem strange if you don't know the language.
We were aware of this, but we were still quite surprised recently when we came across this list of eight frequently mispronounced food names. Most of them are common foods that many of us have eaten regularly, so we were shocked at the thought that we'd been saying them wrong all these years!
