Ever Since I Learned This Garlic Roasting Tip, I Put It On Everything!

We must prepare you for this one. Roasting garlic isn't a short process. It's an art, and proper Alchemy is necessary in preparing the most delicious roasted garlic you ever had in your life. As a matter of fact, this process will only take you about 5 minutes to prepare. Everyone will want to know what you are cooking.

What you will need:

  • 3 Heads of Garlic

  • 1 to 2 Tablespoon of Olive Oil (It's okay to use more)

  • A Freezer Bag

  • Parchment Paper

  • Aluminum Foil

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 400ºF.

  2. Cut the bottom (about 1/4 inch) of each garlic head. Line a baking sheet with foil.

  3. Take two additional sheets of foil. Add the garlic heads (cut side down) and 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the foil.

  4. Wrap up the foil tightly and place on the baking sheet. Place baking sheet along with garlic in the oven and roast for 40–42 minutes.

  5. Remove from the oven and open the foil carefully. Allow the garlic to cool for at least 25 minutes before handling.

  6. Squeeze the garlic from the peel.

~*~ Helpful Hint ~*~

Make sure the garlic pieces do not touch each other. You will have to freeze it on the cookie sheet for about 30minutes before placing the cloves into a freezer bag. Don't forget to date the bag for health reasons.
