
Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 4 cups (2 – 12-oz. pkg.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- 1 Medium mixing bowl
- Whisk
- Mixer
Let's Bake:
Step #1: Preparation – Preheat your oven to 375° F, gather two bowls and all of your ingredients together.
Step #2: Mix – In a medium bowl, combine your flour, baking soda, and salt using a wire whisk.
Step #3: Mix – In your large bowl, beat in the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract using a hand mixer until creamy. Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after adding each one. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Then stir in the nuts.
Step #4: Placement – With a well rounded teaspoon, drop cookie mixture onto an un-greased baking sheet.
Step #5: Bake – Place cookie sheet in the oven and bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2-4 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
