Have A Leftover Tomato? Don’t Toss It In A Zip Lock Baggie Try This Storage Hack Instead; They Last Longer

Stop Using Plastic!

I think that everyone can totally agree that cooking in the kitchen (with or without) kids can become super-distracting. That is why, usually, we always forget to use the other half of our fruits and vegetables. Like tomatoes for instance.

Tomatoes, are my main staple so I am always tossing them into any dish I could possible use. However, sometimes, I get stuck with a half of a tomato. I know that if I put it in a plastic baggie, like a Zip Lock it will last for about 2-3 days in the refrigerator.

Then I Saw This Fantastic Idea About Keeping Tomatoes (& Other Produce) Fresh For Over A Week, Tried It & To My Utter Surprise It Worked Like A Charm!

If you have half of a tomato, don't even think about going the traditional (lazy) route and tossing it in plastic. Try this instead. You do not need any special kitchen gadgets and it will save you some major space when you do it. Besides, as a working mom I am always innovative on kitchen hacks that will save my limited budget.

it’s clickbait… it helps them sell ads if you keep clicking for each new page…. if you REALLY need a particular answer-yes about tomatoes even– google it.

What is the purpose of having me click through 3 pages for one sentence to answer this question? Do they really think I was looking at their ads on 3 pages?? Wrong!! What a waste of time. Will not click on this web site again.

Stop making me have to go through several clicks to learn how to store a tomato better than I do. This bologna is very irritating.
