How Many Of You Remember Having This Tri-Colored Pasta Recipe When You Were Younger?

This easy and delicious pasta salad makes enough for twelve servings but if you are having a large party, you can always double or triple the ingredients. Feel free to use any kind of veggies and pasta that you prefer and really make it your own. This pasta only takes minutes to prepare but it is needs to refrigerate for a few hours so that it can marinade in all those delicious flavors.

Let's Get Started…

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 1 lb. tri colored rotini pasta
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 1/2 cups cucumber
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 can medium black olives
  • 1/2 of a purple onion
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil add pasta , olive oil.
  2. Cook until the pasta is al dente, and add broccoli florets.
  3. Cook 2 more minutes, stain pasta and broccoli in a colander.
  4. Run cold water over it until the pasta and broccoli are cooled.
  5. Drain completely and set aside.
    Combine sliced cucumber, red bell pepper, olives, onion and pepperoni.
  6. Add pasta and broccoli.
  7. Stir to combine.
  8. Pour in the dressing.
  9. Toss to coat.
    Cover, store in the fridge until ready to serve (up to 4 hours ahead of time for best results).
  10. Stir again before serving.
