How To Make The Perfect Brisket In Your Crock Pot Without All The Effort

Here is the best way to make a mouth watering brisket and not waste all that time in the kitchen. And the family will love you after the wait of the slow cooker!

Let's Get Started…

The Ingredients To Gather:

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons chipotle chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 4 to 5 lb fresh beef brisket
  • 1 ½ cups ketchup
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¾ cup low-sodium beef, chicken or vegetable broth or water

The Step By Step Directions To Follow:

  1. In small bowl, mix brown sugar, chipotle chili powder, cumin, celery salt, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  2. In another small bowl, mix 3/4 cup of the ketchup, the apple cider vinegar, onion and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over brisket along with broth.

The Rest Of The Directions To Follow:

3. Put everything in the Crock Pot and put it on low for 6-8 hours. Make sure your meat thermometer reads 160 Degrees.

Finished!

Now you have that great tasting brisket that the family will be raving over! Add a side dish or two and you are ready to go. I personally love to make butter garlic noodles with corn on the cob and it's a perfect meal.

Enjoy!

The recipe doesn’t say what to do with dry seasoning that gets mixed together
