This is not a very good recipe, first of all get rid of those red onions and use sweet white onions. And mashed potatoes and you kidding me!!!!! Use shredded Idaho potatoes.

POTATO PANCAKES..MMMMMM WE MAKE THEM WITH RAW POTATO’S GRATE THE POTATO AND THEN AN ONION….SOME FLOUR AND 1/2 TEASPOON SALT….MIX ALL TOGETHER UNTIL IT LOOKS LIKE A BATTER…MAY HAVE TO ADD FLOUR SLOWLY…. THEN PUT IN FRIDGE FOR ABOUT 1/2 HOUR OR SO UNTIL YOUR READY TO COOK THEM….PUT SOME EVO IN THE FRYING PAN, THEN SCOPE LIKE YOUR MAKING A PANCAKE….LET FRY UNTIL YOU SEE BUBBLES, THEN TURN OVER , CONTINUE UNTIL YOUR FINISHED….TO BE SERVED WITH SOUR CREAM …OMG SOOOOO GOOD….
