These Fancy Looking Peanut Butter And Chocolate Bars Taste Even Better Than They Look, And They're Very Easy To Make. The Most Difficult Part About This Recipe Is To Resist Licking The Bowl After You Poured Your Batter!

Let's Get Started…

Ingredients To Gather:

The Crust

  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ SuperMoist™ devils food cake mix

  • 1/3 cup butter

  • 1 egg

The Filling

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 3 cups powdered sugar (about l lb)

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 3/4 cup honey-roasted peanuts, chopped, if desired

The Ganache/Frosting

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips (6 oz)

  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

Directions To Follow:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix crust ingredients in medium bowl. Press crust in bottom of ungreased 13×9-inch baking pan. Bake for 12 minutes. Cool for about 30 minutes.

  2. In large bowl, mix all filling ingredients with the exception of peanuts until smooth. Stir in peanuts. Spread and evenly over cool crust.

  3. Microwave ganache/frosting ingredients in medium sized microweable bowl for 1 minute on High. Stir with a whisk. Microwave 30 seconds longer. Stir again until mixture is well blended. Spread ganache/frosting over peanut filling. Let stand at room temperature until set, about 2 to 3 hours. Cut into squares.
