Sorry, but TRUE Italians DO NOT ADD ANY SUGAR, IT’S AN INSULT TO THEIR GRAVY
I like real spaghetti sauce the old fashion way , this stuff like zucchini this is for vegan that make the sauce for a vegan , the world today is veg world and don’t forget your going to live long , in a few years quess what. Illness hits you something they have no cure for, nothing in this world will help you not even veg,the man upstairs takes care of that. My friend,
Thank you!!!! I have never ever ever added …..nor carrots or anything that would make it sweet! My Gravy simmers 7-8 hours…between the meat it starts with and the length of time it cooks…it breaks down the acidity just fine 🙂
ps….another reason ANY “jarred sauce” was taboo then and now lol
Agreed…..I’ll cut calorie corners elsewhere….Life is too short…everything in moderation.. but if we are having Spaghetti and meatballs….Its going to be the real deal….no wheat pasta….gluten free….no ground turkey ….just the real deal lol
