
You can definitely go and experiment with the pasta. You will want to traditionally have lasagna noodles but you can also substitute for penne as well.

The Ingredients To Gather:

1lb ground beef
-
1 onion
-
1 green bell pepper
-
3 cloves garlic
-
15oz petite diced tomatoes
-
1/4C tomato paste
-
1 tsp dried oregano
-
1 tsp dried basil
-
6C chicken broth
-
1/2C heavy cream
-
3/4C Parmesan cheese
-
4-5oz Mafaldine shaped pasta
-
Whole milk mozzarella
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
1. Add vegetables, tomato paste, spices and chicken broth. Cover and begin to cook on high for 4 hours. Cook and drain beef of fat, adding cooked meat to the slow cooker.
2. When 4 hours is up, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, followed by pasta.
3. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
