
This amazing sloppy joe recipe makes enough for about eight servings but if you want more to enjoy for another meal, you can double the ingredients. If you don't like spicy food, you can only add a little Tabasco sauce or leave it out completely. You can toast your rolls for some extra crunch if you wish.

The Ingredients To Gather:
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2-1/2 pounds Ground Beef
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 1-1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 cup Water
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- Worcestershire Sauce, To Taste
- 2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste (optional)
- Tabasco Sauce (optional)
- Salt To Taste
- Pepper, To Taste
- Kaiser Rolls
- Butter
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
- Add butter to skillet or dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, cook until brown. Drain most of fat, discard.
- Add onions, green pepper, garlic. Cook for a few minutes.
- Add ketchup, brown sugar, chili pepper, dry mustard, water.
- Combine, simmer 15 minutes, adding salt, pepper to taste. Also add tomato paste, Worcestershire, and Tabasco if desired.
- Spread rolls with butter, brown on griddle or skillet. Spoon meat mixture over rolls.
